Gemma Filby

Since graduating with a First Class B.A Honours in Applied Music from the University of Strathclyde, Gemma has gone on to firmly establish herself as a session musician and MD of excellent repute.

A very highly accomplished pianist, vocalist, MD and arranger, Gemma's excellent musicianship has enabled her to hold positions as Musical Director for theatre companies and as a lecturer in Composition.

Furthermore, she has performed on numerous occasions as a pianist and vocalist live on STV and BBC television, as well as various radio stations.

Gemma has also given performances at Celtic Connections, Party at the Palace, with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and continues to work in various musical roles, not least with renowned Scottish artist, Horse McDonald, as keyboard player and backing vocalist.

Rehearsals are held in the upstairs events room on a Wednesday from 7pm – 9.30pm.

Term 1: No Rehearsal on Feb 15th.
Term 2: No Rehearsal on July 5th, July 12th or July 19th.
Term 3: No Rehearsal on October 18th.
