Having returned to proper in-person sessions outdoors in May, followed by a long-awaited return to indoor sessions recently, we’re literally ecstatic to have made a return to live gigs and performances, too! Yes, our return to performing was kicked off by Newcastle’s Voice of the Town choir hitting the stage with a sizzling set in the sun at Festival by the Sea, Northumberland.
Next up, we have a number of shows booked in at one of our absolute favourite venues, the amazing Brewhemia in Edinburgh, throughout August and September while we’ll again be hitting the festival stage at the fantastic, stunning Lindisfarne Festival on September 4th. With a line up featuring the likes of Groove Armada, Dizzee Rascal and Alabama 3 (who penned the theme tune to the hit series The Sopranos), it’s set to be a phenomenal weekend and show.
Pre-Covid, 2019 was an incredible year here at VOTT which saw us perform on 8 tour dates with Take That, Lulu & Rick Astley at the likes of Arena Birmingham and Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium – all to crowds totalling more than 140,000 people! On top of that, we performed at numerous weddings, corporate and charity events, festivals and produced our own What We Do feature shows at a host of fantastic venues in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle.
