Glasgow VOTT, Live @ Hampden Park

We’re hugely excited to announce that our Glasgow group will be performing on the steps of Hampden Park, prior to the Scotland v Ukraine game, this coming Wednesday, June 1st.

We’ll be singing the Ukrainian National Anthem alongside the country’s renowned opera singer, Vassily Savenko, to show solidarity between the two nations during this time of conflict.

The performance is due to take place between 6pm and 6.45pm and you’ll very likely be able to catch the group performing it live on Sky Sports in the build up to the game.  Keep an ear out for interviews with Radio Clyde, Go Radio and BBC Radio Scotland and VOTT Founder & Director, Steve Morton discussing it alongside the good people at Duolingo, who have helped to support the event.

They’ve even provided phonetic translations of the lyrics so that all in attendance at the match can sing along, too!
