‘The Magenta Singers feat. VOTT Newcastle’ in aid of NETA

Come along for an evening of great music and listen to The Magenta Singers, a group of vocalists who have acquired Aphasia often as a result of a stroke or brain injury.  The choir is set up and run in association with the North East Trust for Aphasia (NETA) and Sage Gateshead.  Aphasia is a communication difficulty affecting speaking, understanding, reading and writing.  Members have varying levels of difficulty with communication, but find music enjoyable and an aid to expression.

Following quickly on from their performance backing Susan Boyle at Newcastle City Hall, VOTT Newcastle are delighted to support The Magentas and NETA and will be performing some of their latest, funky arrangements of modern classics in the second half of the show.

So click here for tickets, come along and help NETA to improve the quality of life of people affected by aphasia in the North East.
