We’re delighted to say that Voice of the Town will be making an appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer. Taking part in an exciting new play, The Events, on Saturday August 24th, we’ll be performing a range of material within the play and belting out one of our favourites too. It promises to be a lot of fun and a real privilege to take part in this new show at one of the world’s greatest arts and culture festivals. It’s been a really exciting last few months for us in which we’ve performed and gotten involved in a whole range of different events and music projects. From our regular end of term performances held at the East Kilbride Arts Centre, near Glasgow, the Bridge Hotel Newcastle, to further shows at The Biscuit Factory Newcastle, a flashmob appearance for a marriage proposal, and also lending our voices to a charity single recording for Help for Heroes as part of the Band of Hope musical project, we’ve had an absolutely brilliant time so far this year.
